How DIG work

Ways to earn DIG

• +5 DIG once, when you verify your email.
• +10 DIG per eligible UTC day for Premium accounts.
• +1 DIG once, the first time you genuinely unlock a Premium achievement.
• +2 DIG once per official grid, for the first verified Member or Premium account to complete it cleanly — no hints, no assists. A community grid's first clean finisher is only recognized publicly; it never pays DIG.
• +1 DIG each time another account unlocks your community grid for the first time.
• Buy DIG packs directly, when purchases are open for your account.
• Future challenges and events may add more ways to earn DIG later.

Ways to spend DIG

• 1 DIG to unlock an official, archive, or community grid the first time.
• Creating a community grid costs DIG. The exact price depends on the game and the difficulty you choose.
• 2 DIG to start a new conversation with a Premium account. Once a conversation has started, replying is free.
• Future challenges, cosmetics, and large community unlocks may add more ways to spend DIG.

A worked example

Creating a Shikaku Expert grid currently costs 9 DIG. If 15 different accounts each unlock that grid for the first time, the creator earns 15 DIG back — 1 DIG for every unique unlock.

Unlocking a grid once makes it free forever for your account. Replaying a grid you already unlocked never costs DIG again.

One wallet, one ledger

DIG earned from signup, Premium, creator rewards, achievements, and purchases all join the same wallet balance. Behind the scenes, your account's ledger keeps a record of where each DIG came from and where each DIG was spent.

Why DIG exist

DIG reward players who create grids other people actually enjoy, and give everyone — not only paying accounts — a way to earn access. They keep community creation meaningful instead of open to unlimited spam, support DIGIGMA without a mandatory subscription, and give long-time players community goals to work toward. DIG are not a pay-to-win system: buying DIG never changes what a puzzle is or how it is solved.
